Pierre Matter primarily works with bronze and incorporates recycled metal objects into his sculptures, using welding, plasma cutters, laser cutters, angle grinders, and other tools to shape and sculpt. "I’m like a sort of scavenger. I feel like a kid on a sandpile, except instead of sand, there’s a heap of scrap metal to recycle, filled with beautiful objects."
